At Peter Pan Preschool we aim to provide an exceptional service of care and education to children 3-6 years.
We have a large exciting outdoor area for the children to explore. We have embraced the Early Years Learning Frameworks vision for all children to experience play-based learning that builds success for life.
Days: Monday – Friday
Operating hours: 9AM – 3PM (8:30AM – 3:15PM available for working parents)
Closed school holidays
Cost: Three day enrolment: $60 Per Week
Health care card and Indigenous three day enrolment: $48 Per Week
(Extended hours $5 extra per day)
About
At Peter Pan Preschool we have been operating for over 40 years. We are an incorporated, not-for-profit community owned centre. Our fees are kept as low as possible to ensure access for all children in our community.
The preschool is managed by a management committee of interested parents who meet each term to ensure that the preschool operates effectively and efficiently.
We provide an educational program that builds life skills and prepares children for school.
Staff
Peter Pan Preschool has a professional team of qualified and experienced staff.
The staff consists of:
- Three Early Childhood teachers
- Four Diploma trained educators
- Trained support educators
- An administration and office manager
Program
At Peter Pan we strive to create programs that reflect our passion for ensuring each child’s individual care and educational needs are met in a warm, supportive and inspiring environment.
Our programs are influenced by children’s interests and ideas, our families contributions, our knowledge of child development, the National Quality Standards, the Early Years Learning Framework, Child Observations and Community Events.
We endeavour to provide play – based programs that contain intentional teaching moments, a balance of child led and adult led experiences and space for spontaneous play! Our programs ensure all our children have the opportunity to be creative, exploratory, cooperative, committed, focused, inspired, challenged, confident, reflective, persistent, celebrated, encouraged and enthused each and every day during their learning journey with us at Peter Pan Preschool.
Philosophy
Enrolment
Enrolments are taken the year before you wish your child to attend. We encourage you to come and visit to pick up an enrolment package and meet the staff while viewing the centre. The information booklet and enrolment forms are also available below. Feel free to contact us anytime.
